Payroc Acquires Hospitality Provider Detrok Technology Services

Payroc LLC, a leading merchant acquirer and payment processing organization, announced today that it has acquired Chicagoland hospitality technology provider Detrok Technology Services. The acquisition enhances Payroc’s positioning in the hospitality industry, while giving the company access to the best technology solutions and related services to address the needs of independent owner-operator restaurant establishments. The transaction closed Feb. 1. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Payments industry veteran and Detrok owner James Derby, will join the Payroc team. He will focus on growing the Payroc’s point-of-sale offerings and footprint. The Detrok brand will transition to Payroc during the coming months.
